The Post Road Clothier Process:
1. Listen and Learn: The most important part of designing custom clothing is for us to learn about you. We want to find out how you dress for work, as well as how you dress on your more casual days. Are you looking for a new style? If so, what would you like your style to become? What can we do to help you look and feel your best in any situation?
2. Fabric Selection and Design: We will work hand in hand with you to find a fabric that flatters your physique and a design that best fits your style and specific body shape.
3. Measuring: We take precise measurements, taking into account your posture and shoulder slope.
4. Final Fitting: Once your garment is delivered, we will have your final fitting and make any necessary alterations. Any alterations will be noted and your clothing pattern will be updated for future orders to ensure an exact fit. Repeat orders will use your clothing pattern to make it a very simple process for you.
5. Archiving: Once the final fitting is completed, a comprehensive file will be created for you. We will archive all swatches of clothing you made, patterns, sizing, adjustments and alterations. Re-ordering is much easier and effective when you are able to see what shirts, suits and other items you already have in your wardrobe.
